Some short explanation to my logo.I am a Systemic Coach. “Systemic coaching” may sound frighteningly serious and a bit cold at the beginning. But it actually describes something deeply human.“Systemic” coaching means that we always keep in mind two things (among others):1.) There always is a context that influences you - and back. All this - the individual and the context - form a wholeness we simply call a “system”. There is an inside and an outside to a system. But everything is connected to everything.2.) You yourself have many sides and parts to your personality. They form a special system: you. Sometimes they get along well, sometimes not. If not, it helps to have them start “talking to each other”. But some of these parts are well hidden and will not show themselves without some help from outside. There are plenty of old, untold stories within us, unsolved situations, unmet needs. We bury them. We only feel by a diffuse malaise that they are pushing from below against being buried. Because they will not just peacefully stay there. They keep on being alive and acting. They make their presence be known by various means until they are seen again. This is represented in the lower part of the logo - as a sort of a pressure chamber. If it is the turn of something down there to come up and out, it starts making itself felt. Can you feel it?In our coaching conversation, we create together a safe setting where these things can finally come out while knowing that they will be welcomed with respect and attention, that they will not be condemned, but instead seen and valued. As a benefit of the coaching, they can then take their natural place. They are not under pressure any more and can find peace. This is the upper part of the logo: the expansion. The expansion unburdens, alleviates and sets free formerly bound energies. If you would like to have additional details about the methods and inspirations I use in my coaching sessions, please refer to this page: Systemic Coaching - My methods and more.
Do you feel that you want or need to change something in your life? Or may you even have a growing sense that life wants to change you, but that you are standing in the way of the next steps? One part of you is already on its way while another still stands on the brake? Are you still thinking too much to find clarity? It may still not be an obvious choice for many people to consult a coach, but things are changing.Asking oneself questions about the personal future, having trouble coping with the present or having lost a bit of orientation does not necessarily require a therapy. And perhaps uttering an urge to change things is not something you want to do amidst your family and friends. Because that may trigger insecurity and debates. (“Do you want to leave us?”, “Are you out of your mind?”…) Or you might get loads of well-meant advice you neither need nor asked for, before you even had a chance to finish what you wanted to say.And perhaps you are somebody who feels differently because of your high sensitivityor who thinks differently because of your giftedness?Visiting a coach’s practice may be a bold move, since this is a stranger. At least in the beginning. But is it not so that we open up more easily with a stranger, since there is no prolonged relationship at stake? With the coach, you may play around with new or unfamiliar ideas, without consequence and without being judged for doing so. With the coach, you can download an update for your own ways of thinking. You can just be honest with yourself and put old beliefs to a test. With the coach you can play with different possible versions of your future. You can dare the think wider, bigger and further than hitherto. With the coach, you can find out where to go from here, and what the next steps will be.See also: Why a coach and why this coach? And if you know somebody who will be interested but rather do this in French or German, why not send her or him the link to the corresponding language version of this website?
