German-born but having mostly grown up in France, with both mother tongues, final school exam with a heavy weight on mathematics and physics, studies in the bigger pictures of humankind with French university degrees in political science and history. Growing up in two cultures makes visible what is human and what is culture, i.e., the imprint of time and location. Many supposedly universal truths lose their validity by simply crossing a country border. This realisation induces a new awareness. It was apparent at an early age that people yould tell me their stories, their trouble, their challenges, their deeper thoughts quite openly and trustingly. They apparently found a conversation space in which they could feel understood instead of judged. First professional steps in the foreign trade of French small- and medium-sized manufacturing companies, thus immediately in the middle of cultural interfaces with all the wide range of potential cultural misunderstandings... Things started to take shape at the beginning of the 2000's with a training in kinesiology according to "Three in One Concepts" and "Touch for Health". Then the professional career in an IT company specialised in the financial industry in Southwestern Germany took off towards the planet of management positions - contract management, quality management, project management, production management, up to managing a department of over half a hundred people. Very interesting group dynamics. At the end of the day, companies are groups of human beings trying or pretending to pursue a common goal and donning certain sets of role costumes to achieve that. Succeeding in making aspirations of individual development and the imperatives of company goals coincide might well be the biggest challenge in management today. Then things went serious with a double professional training in Coaching: as a certified Systemic Coach certified by the German coaching association QRC, and with ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy) applied to coaching. And then there is this experience with the difficulties of just being human, which no certificate could ever reflect, and this benevolent view on the failings of being human, which are the salt in the deeply experimental nature of each human existence. Hence comes also an intuitive perception whether people are still making circles in the stories they try to tell themselves or whether they are already reaching a place of deeper inner truth and personal authenticity. Only quite later in life did the topics of giftedness and high sensitivity (a.k.a. high sensory processing sensitivity or high sensory intelligence) come up. With that, many personal experiences made a lot of sense in hindsight, and some dormant skills became available. That is why I like to work with people who are gifted and/or highly sensitive, and also everybody else can benefit of my in-depth perceptions at both a cognitive and a sensory level. Coaching is offered in three languages. German and French both are my two native tongues. English came quite easily, rooting in many ways in these other two languages (in case of doubt about that, look up the year 1066 in history books, since it went with a number of linguistic consequences). I have also been practicing Aikido since 2002 - this Japanese martial art of purely defensive inspiration which also opens many interesting and sometimes surprising ways of awareness and self-development. I am also president of a local martial arts club in Freiburg, the KAMAI e.V.. See also: Contact info & Appointments Your first question session - what does it look like? Blog & Articles
